Started a brand new sketchbook, been working on the first two pages over the past days. Having done my first bit of painting in months a few days ago I chose to make the first marks in acrylic:

I used a photograph I found in a junkshop as my source material, the man seems familiar, I’m sure it’s a case of the era being similar to old family photographs I’ve seen. I can’t put my finger on what he’s thinking though, hence the empty bubble. I’m sure it’ll come though.

Any thoughts on what it could be?
